Join Catherine, a Sound Healer living in Potton, deeply passionate about nature and horses.  She offers a range of different therapeutic sound waves from many instruments … including crystal and brass singing bowls, chimes, drums & gongs to create healing vibrations that connect with the spirit of the natural world for a deeply immersive and nourishing full body sound experience inviting a sense of total relaxation, peace of mind and clarity …..

An immersive, deeply nourishing and relaxing day, centred around a different theme each time to delve deeper into aspects of yogic philosophy and practices.

Some previous yoga experience is beneficial, though not essential.

What's included: A full day of yoga, meditation/pranayama workshops, refreshments (juice shots & energy balls) and a delicious two-course vegan lunch with herbal teas.

SCHEDULE:

10 - 10.20  Welcome Circle & Introducing the day

10:20 - 11:45  Flow yoga session with Beth

11:45 - 12  Break and refreshments: vegan/gluten free energy balls & Juice shots

12 - 13 Session on the theme of the day INTENTION including a traditional meditative walk, shared discussion and inner reflection with Dianne

13 - 14  Delicious two-course vegan lunch (sugar-free and gluten-free) prepared by Beth + herbal teas

14 - 14:45 Further aspects of INTENTION including a deeply relaxing guided Yoga Nidra (conscious ‘sleep’) session with Dianne

14:45 - 15:00  Comfort break

15:00 - 16:00  Gentle Hatha and nurturing Yin Yoga session with Beth

16:0 - 16:15 Shavasana (with optional head/neck massage), aromatherapy oil diffusers, crystal singing bowl, chimes and chanting

16:15 - 16:30  Closing Circle and Reflections

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

DIanne Kenny is the founder of the centre alongside her daughters Bethshona & Tamsin.

Dianne first went to India in 1970 and has been practising Yoga and meditation ever since and teaching for more than 50 years. She has studied many traditions, including the Yogic, Buddhist, Christian, Sufi and Kabbalistic.

“Yoga and meditation have been a wonderful mainstay in my life, helping me to manage the many challenges that have crossed my path, allowing me to live more fully and freely and to understand my own journey with greater wisdom.”

Bethshona Kenny enjoys creating a supportive, curious and healing environment for her Yoga students, weaving together gentle flowing alignment-based Vinyasa, Yin, Qi Gong and somatic movement. She comes from a family of Yoga teachers, practising Yoga since the womb (!) and draws on her experiences as a Medical Herbalist (BSc), massage therapist, dancer, gourmet vegetarian cook and most recently mother of twin daughters.

2 - 3:30pm Herbal Workshop: learn all about herbs and aromas that delight the senses and revitalise body, mind and spirit. 

Make up your own personalised love potions - including a herbal tea and an indulgent massage oil for yourself or a loved one. 

3:30 - 5pm: Gentle, candle lit Yoga session ending in an optional shoulder & head massage with aromatherapy oils.

The afternoon includes a taste of Beth's yummy handmade raw chocolates plus rose and elderflower cordial.  What's not to love?

Allow Jane to guide you through a two hour deeply rejuvenating and relaxing experience helping you to bring your physical, mental, and emotional bodies into harmonious relationship.

With a combination of breathing, meditation and held restorative practices you will feel a shift from fight or flight mode into rest and digest.

Restorative Yoga can help reduce blood pressure & fatigue, gain better mental clarity, promote a healthier emotional balance, build physical healing, promote natural & restful sleep, reduce anxiety, stress and low mood.
You will leave feeling grounded, deeply rested and ready for whatever lies ahead.

This workshop is largely floor based and suitable for all levels of practice and health, especially for those with a curious mind and a desire to nourish themselves  :)
