Active Birth Pregnancy Yoga
Thursdays 6.30 - 8pm

Pre-natal yoga addresses the changes that occur during pregnancy. This supportive and enjoyable class will focus on breath awareness, gentle stretches and specific pre-natal poses adapted to meet your pregnancy needs whilst also focussing on hip opening and the back. Restorative poses will soothe your spirit and encourage you to trust your instincts and connect deeply with your growing baby. 14 weeks +
Baby Yoga (10 wks - crawling)
helps to develop your baby’s neural development, sensory motor skills, balance and co-ordination. It is also wonderful for soothing babies and can help with sleep, wind and colic. Each week you will learn a series of baby yoga moves that are fun to do with lovely songs to entertain and stimulate your baby. The classes also include gentle postnatal stretches for mums, plus there is a lovely relaxation phase at the end of each class! Suitable from 10 weeks old.

Baby Massage (birth - crawling)
is a wonderful activity to do with your baby. These relaxing classes allow you to enjoy some precious quiet time with your baby as you learn a head-to-toe baby massage routine which helps to develop your baby’s digestive, immune, circulatory and nervous systems, soothes wind, constipation and colic, and encourages babies to sleep. There are also weekly discussions on a variety of parenting topics. Suitable from birth.
The classes are also a great way to make new friends. All equipment is provided such as mats, towels, cushions, massage oil and toys, plus refreshments for parents so that all you need to bring each week is yourselves, changing items and milk/water for your baby.
Detailed illustrated hand-outs to support the yoga and massage routines are also provided.

This is a POST-NATAL educational exercise programme run by our Chartered Physiotherapist, Joanne Howell. It consists of 4 one hour sessions incorporating exercises, stretches and discussions on different topics. These include;
- Safe exercises to do after pregnancy
- Regaining core and pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy
- Postural advice & tips on avoiding and treating low back and pelvic pain
